Budgets and burn tracking

Budgets let you set spending targets and track how much you've used against them.

View budgets

1. Open Budgets and choose a Fiscal Year.
2. The KPI cards show Total Budget, Total Spent, Committed, Remaining, and Forecast (with an Over budget / Within budget badge).
3. Change the view with the frequency toggle (Monthly / Quarterly / Yearly) and the display mode (Budget vs Actual / Variance / % Utilized).
4. In the grid, each row is a budget line (by department, cost center, and so on) and the columns are periods. Click a cell to drill into the transactions behind it.

Track your burn

The % Utilized and Variance views show how fast you're spending against budget, and the Forecast projects where you'll land by year-end. Overspends and underspends are highlighted.

Create a new budget with New Budget, and export with Excel or Print.
