How is my data secured?

Tera protects your account and data with several safeguards.

Sign-in and sessions

• Encrypted sign-in — your password is encrypted on your device before it's sent.
• Session expiry — for security, you're signed out after a period of inactivity and asked to sign in again.

Extra layers

• Two-factor authentication — a 6-digit code after sign-in (and phone OTP in India) adds a second layer of protection.
• Role-based access — you only see the data and actions your role allows.
• Biometric unlock (mobile) — optionally lock the app behind your fingerprint or face.

Your controls

Under Settings, you can manage your password, notification preferences, and your AI (FinPilot) consent.

If you ever notice anything unusual about your account, contact support right away.
