Tera's security and compliance posture

Tera gives administrators controls to secure your workspace, and gives every user tools to protect their own account.

Admin controls (Company Settings → Security)

• Enforce two-factor authentication for all users.
• Single sign-on (SSO) with your identity provider.
• Session timeout — sign users out after a period of inactivity (options from about 15 minutes to 8 hours).
• Password policy — Standard, Strong, or Strict complexity.
• IP allowlist — restrict access to approved networks.

Every user (Settings → Password & Security)

• Change your password.
• Turn on two-factor authentication.
• Review active sessions and sign out other devices.

Data protection

• Sensitive fields (such as email and phone) are stored encrypted.
• Role-based access means users only see the data and actions their role allows.

AI (FinPilot)

AI features require your consent, which you can review or revoke under Settings → FinPilot AI. See What FinPilot can access and its limits.
