Regions and entities shape what your users see and how spend is organized.
Regions (India / US)
Your region is set for your account and controls things like:
- which features appear (for example, the wallet and UPI are India-only),
- the states and tax fields shown, and
- the currency (₹ or $).
Entities
An entity is a legal business (company) within your organization. Entities are managed as reference data — Admin → Reference Data → Entities — with details like name, type, tax IDs, base currency, and fiscal-year start.
You assign each user an entity, and departments, cost centers, and locations link to entities. That's what lets spend roll up correctly for organizations with more than one entity.
Company profile
Set your organization's name, address, and country under Company Settings.
Note: Region and entity structure are usually set up when your organization is onboarded. Contact Tera to change them.
