Getting signed out more often than you'd expect? Here's why it happens and how to reduce it.
Common causes
- Your session expired. For security, Tera signs you out after a period of inactivity. Signing back in is normal.
- You're signed in on multiple devices or browsers. Signing in somewhere new can end an older session.
- An outdated mobile app. Older app versions can lose their session. Update to the latest version.
- Browser settings. Blocking cookies, using private/incognito mode, or clearing site data can end your session.
What to try
- Update the mobile app to the latest version (App Store / Google Play).
- On the web, allow cookies for Tera and avoid private/incognito windows for day-to-day use.
- Clear your browser cache once, then sign in again.
- Avoid staying signed in on many devices at the same time.
If you're being logged out constantly — every few minutes, or right after signing in — that's not normal. Contact support and tell us your device, browser (or app version), and roughly how often it happens.
