Activate your card

New Tera cards arrive locked. Activate (unlock) your card before you use it for the first time.

🇺🇸 United States only — this section applies to United States (US) accounts.

Steps

1. Go to Cards and open the card you want to activate.
2. Click the three-dot (⋯) menu on the card.
3. Select Unlock Card.
4. When asked "Are you sure you want to unlock your card?", click Yes.

Your card status changes to Active and it's ready to use.

Tip: You can lock the card again at any time from the same menu — see Freeze or report a lost card.
