Card limits and budgets

Card limits control how much can be spent, how often, and where. How they work depends on your region.

In India

Your card has separate controls for each spending channel — ATM, POS (card machines), E-commerce (online), and Contactless.

To view or change them:

1. Open the card and choose Card Controls from the card menu.
2. Turn each channel on or off, and set a daily amount (and a daily transaction count where shown).
3. Click Save.

In the United States

Spending limits are set when the card is created — a profile limit (an amount plus a Weekly or Monthly frequency), along with optional per-merchant limits and merchant or category restrictions under Advanced details. See Request a card.

Viewing all limits

On any card, open the card detail and click View all limits to see the full list.

Note: Admins set and adjust limits. Depending on your permissions, you may only be able to view them.
