In India, you complete a quick KYC (Know Your Customer) verification before your Tera card is fully active. It has two parts: Min KYC and Video KYC.
🇮🇳 India only — this section applies to India (IN) accounts.
Before you start
Have these ready:
- Your PAN number
- Your Aadhaar (for the video step)
- Your registered mobile number (to receive a one-time password)
- You must be 18 or older
Step 1: Complete Min KYC
From Cards, tap Start Min KYC (or Continue Min KYC if you've already begun). The form has three steps:
- Basic info — title, first and last name, gender, and date of birth.
- Address — address, city, state, and postal code. Tap Save & Continue; we'll send a one-time password (OTP) to your registered mobile number.
- Verify — enter your PAN number and marital status, type in the OTP, tick the consent box, and tap Submit.
When Min KYC succeeds, your cards appear with a Complete Video KYC button.
Step 2: Complete Video KYC
- Tap Complete Video KYC.
- Review and accept the consent declarations, then tap Proceed.
- You're taken to our verification partner's secure video KYC portal. Follow the on-screen prompts — you'll record a short video and show your Aadhaar.
Once the partner confirms your details, your card is fully verified. There's nothing more to do.
If your Video KYC is rejected
If verification fails, your card shows a red Video KYC rejected banner with the reason (for example, a date-of-birth mismatch). Tap Retry Video KYC, fix the issue, and complete the video step again. You can retry as many times as you need.
Note: US cards don't require KYC.
